UPS will attempt to make a delivery 3 times before returning the shipment back to the sender, and they will leave a door tag at your home after each attempt.
If you know that you will not be available for the next attempted delivery, you can get in touch with UPS to hold or reroute your delivery after the first attempt. Contact information will be available on the door tag or on the UPS website. Depending on your location, UPS may charge a fee for these services. Underground Cellar cannot cover these fees and does not set the pricing structure or regulations that UPS follows.
We recommend that you sign up for UPS My Choice basic (free) or Premium (paid) account if you would like to see more information about all your UPS deliveries and have more options available if you need to make changes to your delivery address, day or time. Learn more about UPS My Choice here.
